Executive Chef Bonifacio Solorzano has over 20 years of experience in the restaurant world. Starting in the mid 80's, from the "bottom",
he learned his art by watching those around him, the great Chefs at the time in Southern California culinary hotspots like Redondo Beach, and Torrance. As years passed and as his passion for food and the
restaurant world grew, Chef Solorzano proved himself time and again to those above him, with his unwavering work ethic and acute eye for detail and precision in the kitchen, eventually to be given the honor of
Executive Chef for another Italian Restaurant in Southern California, a position he held for over 10 years.
Cielo Blu is proud to have Chef Solorzano's vast knowledge of fine food and many years experience heading our Culinary team, and constantly producing the area's finest Italian cuisine.
Georgia & Greg Graven
Owners
Georgia and Greg, along with Chef Solorzano, started Cielo Blu in early
2007, hoping to offer the area what they knew would be greatness: the
product of long-standing friendships. Georgia and Greg, having been married
for 7 years, work together to take care of Cielo Blu's administrative and
managerial requirements, teaming up day-in and day-out to ensure all facets of
the restaurant run seamlessly and smoothly. Being local residents of Carlton
themselves, the two see Cielo Blu not just as a great place for out-of-towners to eat,
who are coming to see Oregon's pristine wine country, but also a place for the locals,
where they can come and count on being greeted with a warm smile, great service, and of course
Chef Solorzano's tantalizing food!
Georgia, having nearly 10 years of food service experience, met Chef Solorzano while the two were working together in another local dining establishment. The two saw the potential, and eventually began talking about the possibilities to bring their dream of owning a restaurant alive. Talking turned into action, and before they knew it "Cielo Blu" was off the ground, it's doors open, and patrons coming in one after another, praising Chef Solorzano, and the Graven's for the wonderful establishment they created.
